Welcome to Sweet Shounen-ai! I thought that there wasn't enough cute shounen-ai on dA, so I created this club! Hope you like it!

What is this club about?
This club is for weird people like me who prefer shounen-ai to yaoi. That doesn't mean that you have to hate yaoi! You can hate/love it, I don't mind. I don't expect this club to have a lot of members and I like it that way. I want it to be something small but active and very friendly, not one of those club where there are tons of members but none of them communicate with each others...

What is the difference between shounen-ai and yaoi?
Okay, let's make it clear for once. Shounen-ai implies cute and generally fluffy and romantic manxman relationships, while yaoi implies manxman (explixit) sexual relationships. That's all.

Join if you enjoy cute manxman couples from any animes/manga or just appreciate these kinds of relationships!

Lots of contests (just for the fun of it) and sweet stuff comming up!

Well, huh... since nobody voted... and since there were only two entries (in fact, there was only one real entry)... I think it would be better just to... forget about this contest altogether. I'm sorry for ~Nebride, who send us a contest entry... It was really great too! Thanks for it (Check it out [link] )

That's a pain really; I loved the theme so much...

I must admit I'm a bit disappointed by your obvious lack of participation... That's why I want to know if you guys intend to participate in any other contest at all in the following months. In fact, I intended on making up a small shounen-ai festival where themes would be proposed, to be illustrated or written on. A bit like the one I organized last summer on ~Iruka-Fanclub, but without the prizes and much smaller. Just, you know... for the fun of it. For the almighty glory of shounen-ai!

Does it interest anyone?

I want this club to be friendly and active, but if nobody is interested into taking part of any of the club's projects, I might as well just close it - I would save a lot of time if I stopped updating the long list of download links on the 'Check it out' Section every month or so!
Or maybe it's just that my projects are not interesting? Or maybe they just take place at the wrong time? If it is so, please do tell me and give me some possible solutions to make the contest more... popular, I dare say.

... Now I don't want you to promise me to participate more actively or anything, I just want you guys to be honest: if you do not intend to enter any other contest, for any reason, then tell me.

(And if nobody even bother to reply to this notice, then I'll now it'll be time for closing down )

SUBMITTING ARTWORK

Just like you could have guessed, you need to send the club a note titled "FANART" or "FANFICT" (depending what you are sending us) and a link to your artwork. Anmd you also have to follow the rules, or else I won't show your stuff! ^^



RULES

1. NO hentai/hardcore yaoi here. I know that the line between shounen-ai and yaoi can be sometimes very thin, and I'll try to be tolerant anyway.
2. NO shoujo-ai/yuri. There are clubs for them...
3. NO Incests/child abuse/AdultxChildren relationship!!! By that, I mean no relationship including an adult and a child, even though there's no sex! I hope you can all understand why...!
4. Be always respectfull towards other members
5. No stealing!
